‘Now, whoa there, Bessy!’ I said. ‘You can’t possibly have forgotten that long conversation about Not Too Many Images. About keeping things concise. On point. Direct. Less faffy.’
‘But. But. There are MOUNTAINS’, I said. ‘Lofty snowy mountains the like of which are not to be found in Cornwall’ I said. ‘And did I mention the snow?’
There are times I give up on myself and faced, as I am, with 101 images of snowy mountains, I find myself weak and my restraint is about as much use as a chocolate sodding teapot and can probably be found somewhere playing and building snowmen and shouting ‘wheeeeeeeee!’ a lot.
To Austria, then, for the first of three posts (and the only snowy one. Damn you, rain! *shakes fist at sky*) and the really rather wonderful wedding of Bec and Dan at the Freiraum at Mayrhofen in the Austrian Tirols. There’s even skiing, dammit and this alone has put skiing on my stuff-I-REALLY-should-know-how-to-do list (Don’t panic, chaps, I fully intend to have learned by the end of the year. I can practice on my stairs, right?)
Yes, I know it still looks like there are about a million mountain images but, baby, you should have seen it BEFORE the hard cull. (Mountainy, mountainy, mountainy)
Wonderful set of images, amazing location!
Stunning work Lucy – they must be thrilled with these. You really captured the atmosphere and did the backdrop full credit!
Breathtaking scenery for a stunning wedding. These pics are amazing! SO many gorgeous moments throughout the day. Lovely stuff.
Lucy! These photos are stunning, thank you so much for sharing them. Sorry I didn’t get to say bye to you, hope you enjoyed Austria 😊
Lots of love, Bec and Dan xxx
Utterly stunning. Those mountains. Those skies. That view. So many gorgeous shots.
