We’re off to Somerset today for the frankly GORGEOUS wedding of Sharon and Dan. Morning preps with the ladies at Midleney Place were followed by a quiet ceremony at The Almonry Barn just outside Muchelney in Somerset.
As an aside, it was very lovely to be back in Somerset with its beautiful where I lived for so very long. I miss the dark haunting-ness (that’s a word right?) of its skies in winter – all scudding clouds and the cawing of the crows as they dart from one bare tree to another.
