Postponed not once but twice, Xin and Martin were finally able to be joined by family and loved ones from home in Hong Kong for a splendid classic English wedding in London with lots of lovely touches from home when they married at Hampton Court House. This followed a morning of preps at the very lovely newly refurbished Park Hotel in Teddinton (of which I’m 100% a fan).
Fun features of the day included an old style sports day with sack and egg and spoon races with an ACTUAL MEDAL CEREMONY was a particular hit. (Yes Xin and Martin won the three legged race. When asked Martin refused to confirm if or no he’d been practicing.
Music during and before the ceremony by was performed by talented friends on the piano and the violin.
And it was lovely for the bride and groom to take some quiet time out for portraits in the grounds and especially the beautiful shell house.
‘Thank you very much for sending them so promptly, they are beautiful photos. They are lovely – great to relive the day through them! Thank you very much for all your help for the wedding! ‘
I don’t get to cover London weddings as often as I would like so it was absolutely fab to pop up to town for Xin and Martin’s Hampton Court House wedding. It was a real treat and an absolute joy to capture.
