LOST MUSIC ROOM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
GREAT AMBROOK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
A little bit about Lost Music Room wedding photography.
So to the beautiful rolling Devon hills for the very lovely micro wedding of Anna and Will at the utterly sublime Lost Music Room at Great Ambrook near Ipplepen.
And what a day it was. The weather, always a good start, simply could not have been kinder. The English summer when it gets it right it gets it REALLY right. This was my first visit to The Lost Music room (and the venue’s first legal wedding ceremony) and I hugely hope it won’t be my last. The high ceilings and large airy rooms meant the heat wasn’t stifling but MY did that wisteria smell good in the sumshine.
I’m eternally torn between minimalism and maximalism and the venue certainly 100% appealed to the former. In fact, everything about the day was sublimely pared back and chilled. Elegant without being distant. Deeply deeply cool.
Anna opted for a dress designed and made by Isabel Knowles with Will going to a relaxed suit with Birkenstock loafers.
I’m always a sucker for weddings were the couple gets ready together and, in this instance, walk into the ceremony together too. Later came cake, champagne in the sun and wood oven fired pizza.
Perfection.
As ever, I’m hugely grateful to be able to do what I do and to get to witness so much love.
