UPTHORNE WOOD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
We’re crossing to the other side of the country today for Brenda and Dean’s fab woodland wedding at Upthorne Wood in Suffolk. It was my first visit there and I really hope not my last. It’s a really cracking venue with fab staff. Below, then, is a selection of my Upthorne Wood wedding photography from the day. A quick shout out, too, to second shooter Tom for having my back and supporting me on the day.
On a wee bit of a tangent – popped into Bury St Edmunds before driving home. How lovely is that place? Crikey. I’ve covered quite a few miles this year, and seen rather too much rain for my liking, and it’s a real treat to get to see so much of our little country (and other countries, too).
To the wedding then. Morning preps with snooker, a first look with THOSE TEETH (a hangover from Brenda’s Ibiza hen-do) and prom photo inspired group shots of the girls for Californian Brenda. Utterly beautiful flowers from Wild Rosamund and a fantastic dress by Alena Plokhova (links below in the supllier shoutouts).
A ceremony in a woodland glade. A string trio in the dappled shade. Dinner in a candle and fairy light lit barn, festooned with foliage. Perfection.
Dancing. SO MUCH DANCING.
