If you’re looking for some Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding photography you’re in the right place.
I love a London wedding and I really love a winter London wedding.
They’re just so chilled (no pun intended) which feels totally counter-intuitive. I love how, amidst all of the hustle and bustle of all that human life, a wedding can create its own little bubble of joy that carries you through the city. Huge fun. The seasonal lights everywhere add a little pop of magic, too. The need to take refuge from the cold adds a sense of intimacy and fraternity that can sometimes go less noticed in sunshiny country weddings of summer.
So, to London and K&G’s multi-venue day.
Originally planned to take place in The Netherlands, circumstances changed and the whole thing was relocated to London at the eleventh hour.
The planning team did an incredible job in putting together such a successful day with so very little notice.
The morning started at the lovely Franklin Hotel in Knightsbridge, followed by a lovely ceremony at the ever epic Old Marylebone Town Hall. Then to South Kensington by vintage bus where we stop stopped off at Elizabeth Gate for some portraits at dusk in the light winter drizzle. Next, speeches, champagne and a sparkler exit at the beautiful Gore Hotel. Finally to dinner at the just incredible Daphne’s restaurant in Chelsea. Dinners enjoyed delicious food and signature cocktails before I made my quiet exit and dissolved into the night, leaving them to enjoy their time together.
Shout out to the very lovely Renate of Wit Photography for whom I covered the wedding when discovered she had flu.
