Oh!, where to start? Where to start?

I could start by telling you that I love these guys. And their delicious little dog Beryl.

That these wedding images are absolutely testament to why it’s so so good to meet with a couple before the big day (normally it’s just once but with these guys it was a record three times although it feels like more *counts fingers and racks brain*).

An (early) morning of preps at home with the ever lovely Tasmyn Siddiqui wielding her magnificent make up brushes and Simone Knyita being brilliant as ever on hair was followed by a simple ceremony in Truro before finally repairing to The Godolphin Arms in Marazion. Tea was drunk (obviously) and watchful seagulls raided indiscriminately. The tide raced in alarmingly and oh-so-quickly the beach was lost. There’s a reason Cornwall has my heart and the hearts of all of us that live here and today’s wedding gives a teeny tiny hint as to why and it’s something to do with air and breathing and a sense of freedom. A bit like love, really. Because that, too, is what today was all about. Two people quietly and simply standing in a room, looking deep into each other and saying ‘I love you’
