Scorrier House wedding photographer
We’re in Cornwall today for some Scorrier House wedding photography. It’s a venue I hadn’t visited previously so was delighted to finally do so. I was not disappointed.
Lottie and Mike married on an unusually lovely Spring day, surrounded by their closest family and friends and, perhaps most importantly, their dog (in a tux. Of course).
An outside ceremony was followed by a hog roast and later an ice-cream van, supported by a cake table, for desserts.
One thing I love about doing Scorrier House wedding photography is the great scope they have for portrait location. As it was Spring we were treated to camelia, rhododendrons and magnolias. And carpets of bluebells were starting to emerge (which I bet looked FANTASTIC a week or so later).
There’s also an Orangery – a perfect wet-weather option. And the staircase is glorious. Mostly, though, I loved the frames created by old doorways, and the tunnels created by the tree, with pockets of delicious light here and there. And there’s a pool. Which, it being April, was not used.
Lottie rather brilliantly designed all of the stationery herself, and put together the table details, including William Morris ribbon which will always and ever get my vote.
