Wedding photography Dordogne
We’re off to Lot et Garonne for our fix of Dordogne wedding photography.
Second shooting for the utterly fab Claire Penn Photography, I was delighted to help out on V & A’s very lovely wedding.
It was a full-on family affair with a champagne tower, bubble exit from the church, family games (in two languages), a croque en bouche and (a personal fave of mine) an old style Citroen DS.
If I were to picture the perfect chateau wedding, this would come close. And it’s slightly in the little details. The waterfalls of wisteria. The fields of sunflowers, nodding drowsily in the breeze. Dinner held in a centuries old barn, and in the floor tiles there are the unmistakable imrints from a cat’s paw. the cat in question is hundreds of years gone but her legacy of tiny cat vandalism very much remains. The chapel interior is whitewashed – helping keep things cool while affording a flexible canvas for a ceremony
