Fireworks and fairy lights – a review of 2020

I’d decided what I was going to write while I was walking the dog the other night but then I changed my mind because it felt like it was all about goldfish and entropy and that people wouldn’t want to read it. I had that crashing moment of doubt with a side order of self-pity...

Cornwall elopement inspiration at Underpine Woods

Cornwall Elopement photography at Underpine Woods Underpine Woods. As venues go it’s a bit of a cracker. Tucked away in the upper Tamar Valley, it’s a new elopement and wedding venue near the seaside town of Bude. There’s a definite far from the madding crowd feel to it. Perfect for micro-weddings, the venue is set...

Lucy and Will – a Stourhead wedding

Stourhead temple wedding photography … Before we crack on with Lucy and Will’s Stourhead temple wedding photography – an update from MGH Towers. I haven’t blogged in forever. Hell, I feel like I haven’t picked up a camera in forever. It’s certainly being a trying year and, if I’m candid, it’s rather difficult to keep...

Love the way you play with light Lucy, especially the low key. That noisy black and white photo of the bride going down the steps just speaks to me. And as soon as I saw the coffee and croissant shot I had to go to the kitchen and get some, there goes my New Year resolution diet!ReplyCancel

I’m not usually a big fan of detail shots in blog posts but this works so well, love how you intertwine them with the wedding images. Such a great year. Also love your tilt shift work, so good!ReplyCancel

Lucy, your pictures delight me. I don’t know what it is but you have the ability to show all the aspects of human interaction and all the quirky odd moments and emotions that occur when people get together, whatever the occasion  If you could bottle it you’d retire rich (put me down for a bottle).ReplyCancel

Holy bananacakes – I haven’t blogged in FOREVER. there’s a huge amount to share from this sumer but – for no sensible reason whatsoever – I’m going to start here with Clare and Alan.
